For your consideration, we are offering for sale this circa 2001 Montblanc No 145 MEISTERSTUCK Classique Fountain Pen with Box in Mint Condition and stickered. This fountain pen is considered new old stock and only has been inked to dip test a writing sample. Guaranteed Authentic Montblanc 145. 

This Montblanc has the serial number XX2020806 on the edge of the cap clip, which is a legit Montblanc, and GERMANY. This Montblanc was purchased at the Montblanc Boutique Shop in Munich, Germany back in June of 2001. All of this information is verified on the Warranty Card enclosed in the service guide (see image 13/last image). 

NOTE: The Montblanc 144  is the same size pen as the 145. The difference between the 145 is the cap is a threaded type whereas the 144 is a slip-on type. 

This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks, or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap has the gorgeous Gold Filled Clip and Cap Banding which, display absolutely no brassing. The cap banding is stamped with, "MONTBLANC MIESTERSTUCK. The underside of the clip (see image 10) is stamped with, "Pix". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the barrel or cap. This Montblanc 145 Fountain Pen measures 5 1/2" in length capped and 6 1/8" posted.

This Montblanc comes with an original Montblanc Ink Converter. I have tested the converter filling mechanism with water and fills as it should.

The Montblanc NIB is an  14K/585 Bi-Color NIB. The 14K Montblanc NIB has a medium point measuring roughly 0.84mm when measured with digital calipers. When creating a writing sample, the NIB writes with a medium to broad stroke/line. The writing sample provided in the image has a range from .83 to 1.04mm when measured with digital calipers. This NIB writes extremely smoothly and is such a pleasure to write with. The writing sample was done with the actual pen in the images that are listed for sale. The writing sample was used by dipping the NIB in Montblanc Blue Ink.

The Montblanc 145 comes with the original box and Montblanc literature. 

This is a wonderful example of a Classic Montblanc No. 145 Fountain Pen. New this sell for $640 on the Montblanc website. It is in impeccable condition and I would grade this fine writing instrument in Mint Condition. It is ready to write or just add to your writing arsenal collection.
